Welcome!
I know that the process of finding the right therapist can be a bit daunting. To help make it a little easier, I'll share a bit about myself. Firstly, I've been doing this work for the last several years and I absolutely love it. I am honored by the opportunity to share in people's stories and support them in their healing. I also value a healthy life balance, so I'm often outside connecting with nature, spending time with my pet and partner, or inside enjoying a good book and a cup of tea (especially on a rainy Portland day). I believe that our bodies have an innate knowledge of what we need, and in this way, part of the work is learning to listen and work with our bodies. All types of bodies and abilities are welcome here! I am an LPC (#C7680) and have been doing this work for several years.
All of this to say- I am here to support you in your growth, exploration, and healing.
I'm passionate about building therapeutic relationships rooted in humor, warmth, and non-judgement. I practice from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach, which is rooted in acceptance and mindfulness.
I do not discriminate based on race, class, religion, body-type, sexual-orientation, gender-identity, relationship-style, ability-status, or any other identities. I welcome you to come as you are and find a safe space for exploration.
If you have any questions please feel free to call or email me! I am passionate about providing accessible, equitable care and do offer a sliding scale.
